How we protect your privacy

Age eligibility

INDUTUS is available only to people aged 13 or older. Before email registration or Google Sign-In, we ask for your age in completed years. For new accounts, this age is saved in your profile and also used for styling. We do not ask for a full birth date or identity document. If you enter an age below 13, the form stops before requesting registration details and stores only a restriction flag in this browser tab for the session. Contact support if you believe a child under 13 has an account.

Categories of personal data we collect

INDUTUS collects only the information needed to provide digital wardrobe management and personalized styling: account credentials (email address and sign-in status), optional profile attributes for tailored styling (display name, gender, age range, body shape, skin tone preference, and a display-only profile avatar), an optional city for weather context, photos and details of your clothing (category, color, material, and style attributes), generated outfit cards and saved looks, and subscription or credit records.

Your browser locally stores session authentication and language preferences so you stay seamlessly logged in. To protect accounts against automated abuse, our sign-in service briefly processes standard request metadata (such as IP address and timestamps) solely for security rate limiting.

How we use your data & AI privacy

We use your information exclusively to authenticate your account, organize and analyze your digital wardrobe, generate occasion- and weather-aware outfit recommendations, render virtual try-on previews, manage subscriptions and credits, and maintain platform security.

You do not need to upload a full-body or face photo. Try-on previews render on a preset avatar, and any optional account avatar serves only as a profile picture. Your clothing photos, styling preferences, and generated looks are never used to train public or foundational AI models.

Connected AI assistants (ChatGPT & Claude)

When you choose to link your INDUTUS account to a supported AI assistant (such as ChatGPT or Claude), you grant scoped authorization to read your wardrobe and generate outfit recommendations at your request. During a request, INDUTUS processes the selected occasion, language preference, and optional city—or a coarse city-level location hint provided by the assistant when no city is saved in your profile—solely to check local weather.

INDUTUS returns only the information required to display your result inside the assistant: weather context, styling rationale, selected garment attributes, and temporary, access-controlled image links (valid for 15 minutes) to render your garment thumbnails and preset-avatar try-on preview.

Data sharing & third-party service providers

Your wardrobe items and outfit media are accessible only through authenticated, user-scoped requests and are never shared to a public feed or visible to other users. We never sell or rent your personal data to advertisers or third parties, and administrative access is strictly limited to authorized engineering personnel for operational maintenance.

Depending on the features you use, necessary data is processed by trusted infrastructure partners for AI styling analysis and image generation, weather forecasts, authentication, transactional emails, and service monitoring, as well as by connected AI assistant platforms when you invoke the INDUTUS integration. All payment transactions are handled by Stripe; INDUTUS never stores your full credit card number or CVV.

Data retention timelines

INDUTUS maintains the current items, saved looks, and profile settings that you actively keep in your account, with no long-term archive. Whenever you edit or clear your settings, delete a clothing item, remove a saved outfit, or discard an unsaved preview, our backend synchronously updates or deletes the corresponding primary records and image files. The only short-term exception applies to outfit generation jobs and connected AI assistant idempotency records: to complete generation and prevent duplicate charges on retries, INDUTUS temporarily stores a snapshot of the generation inputs (wardrobe item details, profile settings, and prompt/audit inputs at that moment). Seven days after a job completes or fails, those wardrobe, profile, and prompt input snapshots are automatically cleared, leaving only the outfit result and historical weather needed by existing cards and a minimal non-personal task mapping (operation ID, input hash, and job ID to block duplicate retry charges, removed when your account is deleted).

For connected AI assistants, authorization prompts expire within 5 minutes, active connections automatically expire after 30 days of inactivity, and temporary media preview links expire after 15 minutes. Security rate-limiting records are held in memory for up to 15 minutes, and billing records are retained only as required for accounting and legal compliance.

Your controls & account rights

You have direct, real-time control over your content: any changes to your styling preferences or city setting, or deletions of wardrobe items and saved outfits, take effect immediately on our backend for your primary data, while temporary generation input snapshots are automatically cleared after 7 days as described above.

You can revoke a connected AI assistant’s access at any time from the assistant’s connected-apps settings or by resetting your INDUTUS password, which immediately invalidates active assistant sessions. For full self-service account deletion, you can contact our support team at any time to permanently remove your account and all associated data.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect feature updates or legal requirements, and we will revise the review date at the top of this page whenever changes take effect.
